I've always loved the Thunderbolts. Fords first real all out, drag car :)

Awesome to beat out the Chevy but it would have been pretty cool with an all Ford final. To bad somebody would have to loose though.

What a race! That Bolt was pulling hard at half track, and just enough speed to catch him on the top end. Nice Job! Hard to believe the car recovered that quickly from spinning on the line. Congratulations to Mr. Paquet!

Wish they would show the stock classes on TV. I don't watch NHRA an TV anymore it is so boring.
That is one bad TB. I remember watching them beat everything else in the 60's when I went to the strip every weekend.
They were my dream race car.
