Kermat Marine engine? Now with pictures
« on: June 29, 2019, 02:50:08 PM »
I have a 4 cyl Kermat 12 hp engine, sidevalve,
Looks like 1910-1920 isch. Bigger than a Model-T
atleast on the outside cyl and heads cast 2x2
bolted to the crankcase. Any one know anything
about them? Google came up with nothing just V12s
and six cyl.

I think they made about 5 or 6 different 6 cyl marine engines. I used to have a some scans of a manual when I had a Sea Prince 6 cyl. I'll see if I can find them.

I found the model list. The actual manual must be on the old laptop, I'll look when I get over to the other house and see.

I'm still looking, but so far I haven't found where I put the scanned shop manual. I'm not sure it would be of a ton of help, my Kermath was a bit newer (late 30's) but it would be better than nothing if I can find it.

If it is rare and valuable you might be able to trade it to a Kermath collector for a V12 Sea Raider engine.... that would really make the Galaxie run!
