I have a new set of JE pistons for a 4.25 bore but they have a small dome for a MR head.
They were $1100 new and need rings and pins.
$575 plus shipping.

HI thanks, but looking for a flat top or small dish. Also not looking to spend a lot $$$. If can find pistons and rods at reasonable price will keep it a 427. Is easy to have $1500 in pistons, rods, bearings and rings. At that point makes sense just get a stroker kit for another $500. Anyway figured see what is out there, thanks Steve

Ross 427 pistons

Well, this isn't exactly what you're asking for here, but I'll throw it out.
I have a good set of Ross forged, flat-top 427 FE pistons at 4.258" (approximately .025" O/S).
They have two valve reliefs (fairly deep), weigh 800 gms, comp height is 1.875", they come with pins, and have been glass beaded.
They were run in a new engine for 'dyno time only' before deciding to go another route.
I don't think I can post pictures, but I could e-mail them.

I think I've found a set of pistons, but may be interested in yours too. Is the CH a typo? I'd think it should be 1.775".

How much do you want for the pistons? Thanks, Steve

Yes, you're right. I must have gone dyslexic for a moment, as what the machinist actually wrote on them is 1.765".
I'm looking to get $350 for them.

Hi Luke,

Thanks. Have you looked into getting the block repaired? Are some newer ways like loc-n-stitch. Sounds like yours may be a candidate.
