The core shed
« on: November 19, 2012, 06:30:46 PM »
I cleaned out and organized my shed today, what a project that turned out to be. I am sore as hell  :'(  But I labeled every block and dated them all. I also noted/earmarked 7 that passed the drill bit test.  ;D I will see if they pass sonic when I get that back from GE repair service. I also made a shelf rack later to store all my 390 cranks getting to many of those. But I did pile up the blocks outside that are going to be repair/sacrafice material for 427 blocks. Enjoy the pic.

Hah! Now that reminds me of the famous Holman-Moody picture of stacks of brand new SOHC's at their old warehouse.

Very Kool.
I would imagine a couple of the builders have a bit of drool going on.
So a couple of questions.
Are these for sale or just hording? lol
What's the white foamy looking stuff on the floor?

No sales till I sonic, I want to know if my 7 pass the 428 bore check first. I have a master list and date codes. But at some point they will be up for sale. Just have to be certain first, all it would take is one bad deal to ruin my name.

See I should have found you guys first then built my engine then I might have a 427 block instead of a 390. I couldn't scrounge the funds for a Genesis.
