WTB 69 Fairlane C6 engine side shifter bracket.
« on: April 14, 2019, 03:14:42 PM »
I am restoring a 69 Fairlane formal roof car with 428. This car is a C6 car and factory column shift which I will retain. I need the engine side bracket that supports the end of the column shift bell crank. This bracket would bolt in the same location as clutch Z bar bracket, and it should be the same as a 68/69 Fairlane C6 with either 390 or 428 engine. If it helps, the base number is 7C431 and there is a decent illustration in the MPC for those who have that. Honestly, I could use the shift rod between the bell crank and trans manual lever also, but I'm more concerned with the engine bracket at the moment. I would certainly appreciate any help! Thx,  Brian N

I suppose that if worse comes to worse, I could try to modify an engine side clutch Z bar bracket?
