Oil filter adapter?
« on: April 07, 2019, 03:29:02 PM »
Are the high flow adapters necessary on a mild build? And are the hardened oil pump drives ok from melling and other places or should  i go with an arp? The motor will never see anything over 5500 rpms.  Thanks

You could save your money on both. A stock or Melling shaft will suffice. A stock adapter, non CJ style should be fine as well. You can see if the ports are 1/2". I belive the non CJ's are. If not, run a drill through them and radius the edges of the ports. If you can get one or have the C8AE CJ style, that one is definitely better.
