After two years of waiting a real "glitch" occured.
« on: April 02, 2019, 05:31:44 PM »
Finally drove the car home yesterday on April fools day. The builder of my c6 "DID NOT" put the manual valve body in the transmission. Which means I might as well have been driving my Ford Escape in drive. So I called another transmission shop (and I know the guy) to ask him this question? Can I put a manual valve body in the c6 while the transmission is still in the car.

He says, I don't think you can because your oil pan is blocked by cross members and the mufflers. He also said you will have to take out the engine. I said are you kidding me? He responded with "April fools." I said I'm going kill you Jack? He got me good. Of course he told that yes you can put one in. Here is a pic of the motor.  https://i.imgur.com/pxS0c5p.jpg I took a video but do not know how to download it. This car is "LOUD" especially when I open up the electric cutouts.

I dodged all the bullets Monday.  Didn't have to deal with any jokesters.

As I read it, I'm was going..."Why does this guy need to pull the motor to put a valve body in the transmission??"  Then of course I read on.

Good looking Falcoon.

If you want to post a video, you need to download it to Youtube(or does Imgur host videos too?) and like it here.

You do have to work around Imgur to get pics to post here without them being a link.  Too bad they are such larger files.

Lenny, that must be among the worst fenders to lengthen
with that "reveal" that get wider the farther back you go
In reality you have to reshape it from front to rear ::)
I did a-66 "streetrace" Nova once, i moved the wheel
opening forward to the bumper and made it longer. Novas
have real small openings. That way i don't had to
lengthen the fender that much, but a much easier fender
to lengthen
In the rear i made a new fender below the
"bead" with a longer higher opening but same shape as
the stock one to make the car so stock appearing as possible

And when i was finished with the bodywork his wife/ girlfriend or whatewer
said it had cost to much so he had to sell it ::) So i never saw it finished

cutting and slicing again :D how much have you moved the front
axle? looks like 5-6 inch in the pictures. Yes i saw that hole in the hood
But with that Doomsday machine its almost mandatory to run hoodless 8)
Mustang II based front end?

Hi, I moved the front axle six inches to make room for the engine, We made the Mustang front suspension as well as the frame, everything takes so long to do I am ready to have it done, I ordered My new tires yesterday 33 x 22 x 15 M/T street tires I hope they fit the slicks on it now are 33 x 17 x 16 they both have the same tread width. It is getting closer. Leny Mason
