Nowadays, the split bushings are hard to find.  I don't like pressing a solid bushing into the block.  It is possible to break that casting there, rendering a costly fix or a junk block.  I have been using an old valve guide.  An 11.2 mm drill bit and a light hone.....press it on the distributor shaft after the gear is put on.  I make the OD about .510, and part it off about .900 long.  After press, it ends up .5128 or so.  Fits just right, and you have a magnesium-bronze bushing for the pilot.  Works good, and no block worries......
