Anybody have any 'feedback' on the Gaterman Products HYD roller lifters? Contemplating using some in a upcoming build. Thanks, Steve.............................

These are what Shelby Engine Company uses in their engines they send out. I was talked into them.

I forget the story on Gaterman, but it's a similar story to what quick fuel carbs used to have.....couple employees left one of the major manufacturers to do it on their own.

How much are they?

I found a post that Blair made on the other forum about a set he had in a BBF and they seemed to not meter oil well.  He was thinking about swapping them out.

https://www.gatermanproducts.com/ford-retrofit.html

Shows same part number for FE and 385 series .....

First I heard of them

Here is some discussion on them, not FE

Ricky.

Same lifter bore spacing on FE and 385 engines allow that. Crane , Comp, etc all list them the same way.

Heres one price I found

http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.com/gaterman-hydraulic-bar-link-roller-lifters/

$389.95

For another 20 bucks you can get a set of Morel's in a Howards box.

I have not bought a set in a little over a year so maybe Howards has changed suppliers, but the last 3 sets I got were definitely Morel's in a Howards box.
