Surprising they can get that past the safety nazi's these days. It's cool, but not cool enough to make me buy one. Unless they have a coyote 6 speed manual option?

Being front wheel drive is disappointing. They are fine for inexpensive gas savers but a full size car does not have that solid feel to it. From what I have seen full size Cadillac's tend to be wore out after 10-15 years. 20 years from now some poor kid is going to be dumping there paycheck into one of these unique Lincolns to keep it on the road.

No one will be able to rebuild a new car 20 years from now. The supplier base won't/ can't afford to keep replacement parts for 20 year old vehicles. IMO this was by design. Today's supplier base is fragile, and not very profitable. It has caused many headaches, for engineering, and service technicians. Try getting a part made to specifications, then try to get a couple hundred thousand made to specifications. Another nightmare.

Chris, for what its worth, it looks like its available in an AWD configuration, 400hp engine.  I wouldn't have my Fusion Sport any other way.

There must be more speculation out there than fact on some of these blogs. I figure Road And Track has there story straight, thanks' for posting.

Its tough to tell Chris since there isnt much info on the Lincoln sites, so I hope its true.  AWD in the 335 hp Fusion sport is amazingly fun!  An extra 65 hp and more torque would always be appreciated!
