Brent,
Am I stuck using the 3 finger style clutch? I was hoping to stick with a diaphragm clutch, twin disc is out of the budget (and frankly way overkill).

For what its worth, I have a McLeod steel flywheel & "Street Pro ''11'' clutch behind the 428 CJ in my 59, with a wide ratio Toploader (small input). I used the #75111 Long style version, and although I have not got the car driveable yet, I don`t find the clutch pedal to be very hard to depress. Personally, if you are not launching the car hard on slicks, and have any decent rear gear ratio, a Street Pro should be fine, especially with the wide ratio trans.I have had pretty good luck with mild clutches, even running 12 second 1/4 miles on a $159.00 Dyna Pack stock replacement clutch that was in the car for 5 years of daily driving and frequent weekend drag racing, and was still working fine when I sold the car.
