Availability of Jerico replacement parts..

On a side tangent, has anyone here bought one of David Kee's all-new Top Loaders and beat on it mercilessly? Haven't talked to him directly yet, but I have to wonder if it is stronger than the original, which might be good enough for some of us.

when I converted to stick I never could get through to David Kee , emails and phone calls never got anybody over there . I would be surprised if he had a Aluminum gear box in stock and in my case I went with Dan Williams and he'll answer phone at mid night when I'm thinking about it

What general costs were the gears when Jerico had them available?

There used to be a guy on the old FE forum who worked at or owned a gear manufacturing business.

I haven't bought anything in awhile but found a couple invoices from 11 years ago. A 1-2 slider was $308.00, 2nd gear was $166.00 and the pinion was $104. 3rd gear about the same and a 6 tooth dog ring cost 110.00. I know I bought a mainshaft at one point and pretty sure it was over $600.00. Add 30% Canadian exchange rate and 12% taxes and the bill runs up in a hurry.
