???  Would you preview this and maybe give us some more information.  Never heard of a rubber valve stem.  Viton valve stem seals in .625" are available if that is your question.  Most auto parts houses have them or can get them.  Joe-JDC

Rubber valve stems give variable-flow.  :)

Would a bolt in style be sufficient?   That 5/8" hole is larger then typical I think, like for tubes.  I use them on most all my stuff.

Thanks guys :-)

I got a pair of each from Firestone, Discount tire and O'Reilly's ^_^

2 Dill, 2 Schraeder which have Chine marked on bottom

The Dill show to be made in Chine on the internet

2 from O'Reilly's are Xtra seal .....  made in Chine

TR415 are .625 hole....  normal passenger stuff is TR418, .453 hole

The wheels are 15" x 8", cut apart with a backspace of 3.75"

They have material added between the 2 halves

They center in my 65 F100 better than 4" backspace

Larry, I went to a few sites, they stated if driven a lot of miles the nut should be periodically tightened

I have no idea, but it seems a bit of lock tight would help

Ricky, I use the boltin type an all my cars and trucks. I get them a the local NAPA off the rack. I can`t remember the brand, they come in a green and white bubble package. They have 2 sizes of seals in the package. Haven`t had any issues and the set on my red truck have been on for 6-7 yrs now. I haven`t tightened them at all since mounting the tires.

I'm sure the warning about regular checking the nut is because of the rubber gasket and it growing/shrinking over time.  I haven't had any issues.  I suppose tightening them "just so" will make them survive forever.  You can't crush it, you can't leave it loose.  Maybe a dab of silicone on the rim before tightening the nut will hold it from backing out from any vibration?  I never have, but something to think about if you want to.

All large truck rims have screw on stems.  Although then are metal to withstand the 120# pressure, they are still bolt on.  I've had the Mack 17 yrs without ever worrying about the stems coming loose.

ECTA Land Speed racing requires metal stems. I had them mounted when I bought the tire-wheel package in the first place in 2007. The tires have been replaced several times but the wheels are still going strong and, so far as I know, the stems have never been touched. Discount Tire is a VERY good place to do business.
