what do I use-

I just use a very light coating of motor oil. Valve stems see very little oil when running, especially with positive seals, so no need to go with a heavy lubrication like you'd use on bearings and such.

Agreed.  I tend to use oil on pretty much everything.  No magic elixirs or special powders here.

So you are not a fan of Total Seal Quick Seat?
