Rocker arm suggestions (revisited)

I tried taking apart my stock factory adjustable rocker arms, the rocker arms seem to be scored where they lay on the shaft and the stands were all seized on. I managed to get one stand off and noticed heavy scoring on that as well.

With that being said, I'm more or less at square one. I noticed Jegs sells a factory replacement non adjustable set with new shafts and rocker arms, would this be suitable with some end supports? I'd be running a hydraulic roller cam.

Or should I just spend the money on the Harland Sharp rocker arm set and call it done? I rather not do this twice :)

Do they have aluminum or iron stands? It's not unusual to have to tap the stands off with a hammer. If they're aluminum, I don't know that I'd want to use them. They don't clamp the shaft as well and in general just aren't that good except for very mild/stock type builds.

It's also not unusual for the rockers to be scored along the bottom. I've used lots of them that way, depending on how badly they're scored. Any way you can post a picture of them? They might still be fine to use, again depending on what your intentions are for the engine, like RPM use, spring pressures etc.

You need to see why they are seized to the shaft, maybe an oil issue cam bearing problem. Leny Mason
