I made a mistake with the oil pan.
« on: September 08, 2018, 02:17:03 PM »
Since I have a mustang 2 front end and the oil pan needs to be a rear sump I have two questions? Can the Moroso oil pan be reversed using the same "guts" if you will? Or do I need a new rear sump pump pan with new pickup etc.? Thanking you in advance.

You can't put a pan on backwards

Additionally, the Mustang 2 pans aren't the greatest, they usually have a trapped front sump and you have to run them with extra oil.  May want to see if a 4x4 truck pan will work.  They don't have as much room in the middle, it really depends on how much clearance you need directly under the engine
