WTB SBF 302 intake
« on: July 25, 2018, 02:16:51 PM »
So Ronin is getting his permit when I get home next time.

We've been driving his truck around a little and the 2v Autolite carb needs a rebuild.  I've got probably 100 1850's on the shelf.  I'd rather have him rebuild one of these as I have so many Holley parts laying around, in the future while I'm gone he can grab a gasket or accelerator pump as needed, etc.

I told him for his birthday I'd get him a 4v 302 intake and teach him to rebuild the 1850 or even one of the 390cfm carbs I've got laying around.

Not looking for anything fancy, It's just a stock junky engine, aluminum would be super nice just because I hate lifting heavy stuff.  It can be ugly, we can soda blast it if needed.
I figure someone here probably has an intake with some spiders ready to hatch that has been on the shop floor for a decade.
To narrow down the field, lets put a $125 shipped budget out there.

Thanks,
Drew

I am interested in buying a new one and sending it your way in exchange for some future plating work, if that appeals to you. The only small block manifolds in my garage are fuel injected.

If that is the case Mike, I’ll just buy a new one and we’ll work out the details later

I can use my Discover points to get one, just give me a heads up what you might want. I’m going through the remaining Galaxie linkage right now, and have been tinkering with some truck parts this weekend.
