Not to mention it’s a car movie with Chad McQueen. Surely he was cast in this based solely his last name. Ha! Looks like B movie awesomeness
I dig Michael Madsen. Every movie he's in, he just plays himself. One of my DVD's has an interview with him, and there is zero difference between him and his characters. Zero. Low key don't give a shit smart ass. Perfect.
Dom is quite similar. He's just Dom. In this flick, you can almost squint and imagine him talking to Burt Reynolds instead. Jan Michael Vincent as an Ugly Dude instead of his earlier roles as a Pretty Boy. Julie Strain, crowned B-Movie queen, as the 6'1" cheating wife. The guy in the white Jag with the huge jawline? Remember Tango and Cash hitting him at the same time in the prison scene?
But the best cameo here is one of my all-time idols, Ron Jeremy, as the gardener. Sleazy, uncouth, a pillar of debauchery. I always strove to emulate him. Actually, I have all those traits. I'm just not famous.
Yep, low-budget rocks. I used to have a friend that was into stuff like this. But, from what am told, he succumbed to the opioid epidemic and is no longer with us. Shame.
