sure it's nice when you do something cool... course if you blow up an engine EVERYONE knows about it.  I like to break stuff in peace.

You know, I really don't mind.  I like the idea of sharing my experiences, good and bad, because hopefully it adds to the general knowledge base out there.  Maybe somebody here will read about the experience I had with the Galaxie over the weekend and double check their shift linkage, or set their rev limiter a little lower, whatever.  Learning what works and what doesn't, and understanding the potential pitfalls of high performance engines, is what this web site is all about.
