My 61 Starliner with a garden variety 390. Wish it was a real 375 horse.

Royce, what's required to get you there? 3-2V induction? Agree with Heo, love the Starliners. I used to have a '61 red/red 352-4V with 3 on the floor. Of all the cars I've owned that's the one I wish I still had...

To be a real 375 hp 390 it would require a HP block, solid lifters, the correct Holley carb. It would not have power steering and would have a heavy duty 3 speed transmission, plus an assortment of other small details.

Hey, Royce! How about some pics of the whole car? Nice engine compartment, really clean!

I forgot to mention I have spent most of the winter on this project and I just finished up the engine detail so it is very fresh with no chance for oil mist or or fluids to mar the finish.
As soon as the Glaciers recede here in Wi. I will back it outside and get some whole car shots. When I purchased the car it had Chinese chrome valve covers an Edelbrock carb on a T intake, and a billet street rod air cleaner. I could not live with that.
