Cool! You've been a busy guy in such a short time. Who is Lutz?

Maybe when you roll it outside you can post some more pics as that flat black really does hide the car's lines.

And Jay or somebody else will chime in on 'how to' resize these pics.

Lutz is my Family name. building this Fairlane for 1/8th mile racing one day. hope to stroke  it to 445 cid one day (like my 66) but the goal right now is to get her running. racing season is coming quick and so many things to do.

Cool project!  I'm curious, why the straight axle rather than the Mustang II front end?  Seems like the engine would fit fine either way.

Looks like you've figured out how to resize the pictures, but for what its worth, I always open the files up in Paint, and just resize them to 30% of the original size; that has always worked well for me and its easy.  Also, if you want the pictures to show up full size in your post, you have to host them online.  Try postimage.org for that, its free and pretty easy.

Jay Brown there seems to be major clearance issues with the oil pump/ pan even with the rear sump. Steering clearance issues as well. I didn't put the mustang 2 front end in and if I move it down I see more issues with steering. The other alternative is a Chevy engine ...NOT!

Cool project on the straight axle !!... WAC Customs has Moly Axle assembly and can internal brace them if it's going to be a weekly wheel stander , lot of people use WAC for the Axle and Speedway for the rest of the stuff . You going front or rear steer ?? Front or Rear Sump Pan ?? Dropped or Straight Axle ?? And what length springs you using ??

I suppose it depends on the installation.  My 64 Galaxie has a Mustang II front end setup and with a rear sump pan, the engine fits with the stock mounts.  It is a little tight between the front of the pan and the steering rack, but no real issue.

If you want to post one of the pictures full size, rather than just a link to all of them, just click on one of your pictures, then click the Share button up at the top.  You will see a list of options for sharing the picture.  Second from the bottom is "Hotlink for forums".  Click on the button to the right of that link and it will copy the link to your clipboard.  Then just paste it in here.  I did that for your first picture:

You had asked about pictures of my Galaxie, and unfortunately I don't have any showing the engine installed with the Mustang 2 front end, while looking under the car.  Actually my front end is an Art Morrison kit, so nothing is stock Mustang 2, but it uses the same dimensions.  I can post a picture of the front suspension, without the engine installed, if that would help.
