Dragweek day 4
« on: September 14, 2017, 07:24:13 PM »
Pretty foggy this morning so we had to wait a couple of hours to go racing. It was worth the wait for me since my car picked back up and ran an 11.73@113.6. I also had a 1.57 60 ft time which was my best ever. :) My previous best was a 1.61 so it really hooked today. I am really surprised how well my more or less stock 3 link suspension hooks.

Apparently Alan forgot to read the rules this morning, as everyone was supposed to be running slower because of the bad air. Some guys just refuse to listen no matter how much they're told. ;)

I'm sure Alan listened, but the car didn't.  Engines and cars are like that...

Allan on my hotrod i used a 66 Galaxie rearend. So i just
copied the 3 link suspension out of tubing. And it lifts the
front wheels enough to scare the crap out  of me with some
old dry Formula 1 superstock N50 15,  just 100 inch wheelbase though

Nice work, Alan! The Galaxie was running well. Was good to meet another forum member. Hope to see the Mustang in the future.
