Can anyone point me in the direction to purchase these and a new damper spacer ?

I think Precision Oil Pumps still sells 'em.

Thanks. I found an aluminum spacer made by Blue thunder and sold by Dennis at DSC.

   Head dowels are same as the 429-460.

I wouldn't use aluminum, unless it was VERY hard anodized.  Otherwise the seal will actually wear it down....

You could get them from NAPA, not sure if still available.  If anyone ever needs the NAPA part number I can get it from the shop.

It has been a while since I ordered any, but I usually find on this older stuff I have to give them the part number.  I still have catalogs so I just went and looked it up.  It's part # 600-1611 Balkamp.  Have them try that number.  It may have been discontinued but I'm sure they wouldn't find that number in the computer...

Pioneer head dowels for FE's and big blocks are all over ebay and Amazon.  $6.oo a set and free shipping in some cases.

As above, keep a box on the shelf and never have to re-use any of the dowels.
