Dearborn Steel Tubing
« on: June 12, 2012, 05:39:58 PM »
So I was doing some reading and came upon a picture of a really kool Galaxie Limo.
It's a Andy Hotton build. DST
Anyone ever seen a 66 Galaxie Limo. What a kool FE hot rod that would be.
I said to the wife "where changing direction", she said "what kind of sex thing is it now".
I said Ok, but I was thinking of doing a Hot Rod Limo.  ::)

I'll bet I did see a '66 limo at one time but didn't really pay attention to it. Back then, lots of L-P limos of all types could be seen in downtown Chicago to and from O'Hare airport.

What's more amazing to me is the depth of DST's work for Ford, from out and out race cars, to limos, to armored limos, economy trial cars, the 2 rare drag race pickups, etc.

The '65 limo with the wide white walls and headlight covers was sold a couple of times on Ebay. The first time it went to Florida, from there I think it went to England.
