More Early Alternators 427's
« on: August 24, 2017, 09:49:46 AM »
Two of Ford's first design alternators.  Both are rebuilt, both have the incorrect threaded shaft with a nut holding on the pulley.  The R code Galaxie's used a pressed on pulley (which is available from DST).  I think that the treads on the end can be cut off and the correct pulley pressed on.

$75 for the alternator on the left with the square case front.  This one has shiny parts inside when viewed from the backside.   Plus shipping.

$150 for the alternator on the right, this one was painted black inside.    Plus shipping.

These are the last ones of these 427 alternators, but I'm looking through the rest of the alternators and getting rid of most if anyone knows of a rebuilder looking for cores.
