Did anyone see his 64 with a 440CI FE claiming over 900HP in fastest street car magazine ?

The article says he's doing 8.60.

It's been reported that is Paul Adams old car. It used to run 8's when Paul owned it. I haven't seen the article, I don't know if it has the same engine. Certainly an impressive car.

For a racer, it's pretty darned immaculate! Not easy to do for a heavily campaigned car.

The article says the motor uses Dove high riser heads and factory 715cfm carbs. Very impressive for a 440ci engine.

Yes, Kurt bought Paul's Fairlane.  I guess it came ready to run?  If I recall from a conversation this past weekend at our stick race that Kurt hurt the motor recently.  I don't know how bad.

He bought it complete with the BES 427 in it.
