I have to swap the truck pan for the car pan anyway, so I might as well take a look at the mains,
look for mung in the bottom of the pan etc. After reading the forum's opinions, I have a feeling everything thing is fine but I'm real nervous about oil pressure, as oiling problems are why I pulled the 352.
It was getting tired and had some noisy lifters that would quiet down on their own. The last straw was when I heard what sounded like all the lifters collapsing at once. Pulled the valve covers and it was bone dry on top of the heads!
