WTB Medium Riser 2 x 4 intake
« on: June 26, 2017, 12:22:42 PM »
Looking for a REASONABLE deal on a medium riser 2 x 4 intake. I've see the C7 intakes that guys are asking 1600 and 1700 for. That's ridiculous. I'm willing to pay a fair price but I'm not giving in to extortion. The ones that are really worth that are the ones that don't have any engineering numbers on them. THOSE are rare!
TIA

I have one that is polished, and I believe has been machined.  It didn't match up with my stock Cobra Jet heads, and I didn't want to wait to get it or the heads machined to get it to work.  I've missed to much cruising and car shows already this year.  It has "Ford" on it, so it's not a Blue Thunder.

Is it for sale?

I'll sell it, but wanted you to know up front it may have some issues.  It may need some work in order to work.  it has a helicoil at the distributor hold down, but otherwise all holes are good.

I have a tunnel wedge if you're interested. Slightly less than the "extortion" prices you quoted  :)

Thanks Doug but I just can't see paying $1500 for any cast intake like that. I know that's the "going price" these days, I just don't see it. Plus, I think the medium riser will be a better intake for the build I'm planning. My "good" motor will have a 1071 on it. ;)
Thanks again.

Sent you a PM on this but never heard back. I'm still interested in this. Thanks.
