You know the old saying when you go somewhere.... I went hear and all I got was this tee shirt, well
I did get a tee shirt at the reunion but also met some nice guys. So my pertronix 3 igniter took a dump, was like misfiring and bucking at the big end. Then I talked to Don Fotti and he reminded me that it has a rev limiter in it so I turned it up all the way so I could just see if that is the problem and
Now I couldn't even take off from the line. Very first pass it didn't do it but didn't do a good burnout on my new drag radials and spun the tires all through first and second ran a 13.50, second pas did a good burnout and took off nice but about 100 feet or so before the first set of cones the car started
Breaking up and just got off it and ran 11.42 at 105. Needless to say I was very upset that my car didn't run well, ended up packing up saving some money on the rental truck and the kids got to go to
Work the next day.... well I have a mad dist and 6al going in this week so another saying (just wait till next year. Thank you and it was great to meet you guys. Jay,Barry,Larry,Doug,Harry,Bob Blair and countless others.

HEY, if you put in an MSD, I'll have spare parts for you next year! ;D

Sounds like you were on your way to a good pass, until you had to back off. That's the only thing I don't like about racing, I don't get to see many of the other guys run. I missed some good ones.

Thanks again looking forward to next year, I will keep my fingers crossed hopefully won't need anything, the irony is I have the distributor and box and didn't install it because it was running so good didn't want to screw around.  Who knew!

So I put the 8594 dizzy in and the 6al started it up took it for a ride and it seemed fine. Haven't really driven it much a lot of rain and side work. Drove it like three other times but didn't get on it. Got on it today and it's still there not like it was at the track but there non the less. Checked resistance on the coil and positive to negative I have .8 positive or negative to the tower is 8.98 which I think is high a little help please
