DOOOHH I knew that :o  But i sold a 54 Y-block with Auto
for scrap anyway stupid me ::) Had a creepy feeling i did
something wrong :-[

Heo, I scrapped 5 2 barrel intakes. The next month a man called me looking for one. Mine are free but he ended up paying $60 elsewhere to make his Varajet work with his air cleaner and hood. You never know what wierd obsolete piece someone may need.

You are excused..  54 Y block stuff is usually throw away.. congratulate yourself it was not an aluminum bell, as  you would have sent several C notes to the scrapper

No it was a castiron bell, Aircooled trans. The engine
had been upside down and the valvecovers had rusted
through from the inside so i figured it was not a beauty
on the inside
