FE Power Stickers
« on: February 07, 2017, 10:00:16 PM »
This is not really a technical topic, so I apologize in advance for that, but I'd like to get some feedback from the forum on stickers that I'm considering having printed.  Please vote for your favorite in the poll above.  Also, I am open to any suggestions for other "clever remarks" to put on the stickers, rather than the ones shown; I'm not married to any of these.  Thanks in advance for your input - Jay

I always liked the sticker on the back windshield of the "white trash fairlane"

It says:

"The Surgeon General didn't say anything about smokin Chevy's"

Thanks, but that one seems associated with the Network 54 forum and I don't want to step on any toes there.

This is going to sound wrong, but I like "Yanking The Dinosaur".  Any chance of doing a vinal one as well that doesn't have the white field?

How about "Not all Dinosaurs are Extinct.", or next year, "60 years of race winning history".
Maybe "real engines have pushrods going thru the intake manifold"

1974 F350 race car hauler 390 NP435 4 speed
1959 Ford Meteor 2 dr sedan. 428 Cobra Jet, 4 speed Toploader. 12.54@ 108 MPH

I like "60 years of winning history"

but comments about pushrods through the intake are probably better made by those that don't manufacture intake adapters :P

I like the 60 years of race winning history one.  But the sticker is for my business, not just about the FE, and of course 60 years of race winning history wouldn't apply to the business.  I'm beginning to think that maybe I should do a couple, one that just says "FE Power", geared just towards the engine, and one that says "FE Power LLC", geared more for the business.  Thanks for all the ideas so far...

My vote is for no tagline.  Sometimes simple is best.

When you start comparing the FE to other engines and rubbing it in other people's faces, you can open yourself up for backlash.
