Yep, that's just another styling cue on the new ones that they didn't get right.  Actually, they should have left well enough alone in 1969, and just sold '69 Mustangs for the last 40 years  :D

Checked out MOTOR TRENDS Boss 302 test...Only can LOL at the dumbell writters saying the new Boss can match Porsche and BMW best on a road course..........But they don't even mention in their article that the rear is still a solid axle--------what they have cried has screwed up MUSTANGs for decades. Tucked in the chassis specs they list the solid axle.
The "special ingnition key" that reprograms the entire dam car is COOL.
