FE Dry Sump...

Has anyone seen one like it?  How does it work?  Seems like a DIY one.

Never seen anything like that before.  Looks like some kind of a gear inside the oil pan to drive the external pump?  That is probably not a real dry sump setup, just some kind of a wet sump with an external pump.  But I don't know, it looks really strange...

Looks like the stock pump is used as
scavenging pump and the external(preassure)
pump is driven by the crank some way
wounder why the preassureline from
the stock pump is routed like that
and not straight out of the pan
