He's not the only one who's mad about that whole deal. Best thing your friend can do is get on the waiting list. Have him go to the Hot Rod web site and send an email to the address listed; I think it is dragweek@hotrod.com. If I had to guess, I'd bet that a whole bunch of competitors will bail at the last minute, opening up a bunch of spots, so quite a few people on the waiting list will get in. I'm actually going to do that with my Galaxie, in hopes that I can still run the car at Drag Week, even if it has to be in the Unlimited class. Tell your friend good luck for me - Jay
