Hey Jody, do you do anything special to get that car to hook on the radials?  I've never been able to get them to work on my cars.  Great combination, that's for sure...

Jay, nothing special.  Lots of front end travel 5"+, and 18.5 psi.  I leave off of the footbrake with a two step wired to the brake light switch.  Normally I leave at 3,000 rpm but have pushed it up to 3,600 rpm on a real good track.  9 times out of 10 it leaves with the wheels in the air.  My current tires are just about wore past the wear holes and I had a 1.32 60' at Beaver Springs a few weeks ago.  A new set of tires and fall air will put it back in the 1.20s...

Just so everyone knows the 9.22 was in REAL good conditions on a REAL good track in November at Cecil.  This time of year at Cecil it is running .40s to low .50s.  Beaver Springs is a solid 2/10ths. slower than Cecil and I went two 9.62s a couple weeks ago in 2,800+ DA air...

I think it will run a teen now at Cecil in the fall.  I have better headers and am pulling a bit more vacuum now.  Better ignition box now too.
