Rocker arm oil lines

That is a rare find, something out of the old J.C. Whitney era (Chicago retailer of car parts) where somebody engineered a 'fix' for something that wasn't really in need of fixing!

Kinda' cool though, like muffler bearings!

I seem to remember that was a fix for Y-Blocks, due to crummy non-detergent oil and marginal oil feeds to the rocker shafts.  I've never heard of FE's needing such a thing.  It's usually the opposite problem!

Mmmm, yeah Bill, when was the last time you heard "Ohh gee, I wish I had more oil getting to the top end."  on an FE?

That ad looks to be mislabeled as that's an overhead oiler for a Y-Block.  If you blow up the label on the box, you'll see where it's listed for Ford and Mercury applications along with the year models.  Ted Eaton.
