I'd like to get in the ballpark before breaking out the measurement tools and shims. Is there a set of springs out there that are a known bolt in and go with this combination that won't pull my rocker shaft studs or float the valves?

Thanks

I think Comp recommends their 924 springs for that cam, but I have run the Comp 930 springs on that cam with no problems, up to 6000 RPM with no valve float.  I imagine that they would go higher than 6000 if necessary.  Here's a link to the springs on Summit's web site:

If I recall correctly, they were a direct replacement for the springs that come with the Edelbrock heads.  I'm pretty sure I used the same seats, retainers, locks, everything.  You would, of course, want to set up the springs with whatever shims were required.
