Jegs Head Gasket
« on: March 20, 2012, 11:55:28 AM »
Seen the Jegs head gasket for the FE? Part number is 210430. Hole is 4.29" I don't recognize it as being rebranded from another company but you guys have a lot more knowledge than me.
Avoid or may be worth a try?

Tis a Victor Reinz.
I like Victor gaskets.
A real shame they stopped making there super tough HP intake gaskets.
They also make a really kool valve cover gasket in rubber.

Thanks.

Anybody know if the 210340 listed by Jegs is equivalent to the Victor Reinz 3389 or does Victor have high and low line product? I just removed a 3389 and it is a reddish color which does not sound like the 'high temp graphite' in the description for the 210340.

What did the super tough intake gaskets look like? Are you sure Victor Reinz stopped making them? In the intake comparo book there are two Victor intake gaskets discussed.

The reddish colour is from the older Victors.
The 95159G listed in Jays book has been discontinued.

Too bad about that, because the 95159G gasket was an excellent part.
