I think that was made in the "photoshop".  I would like to hear what a 12 cylinder FE sounds like at 7000+ rpm though.   ;D

It's been around for quite a few years now. Still, it's an amazing pic that shows just how well Photoshop can change a pic, as one really needs to zoom in a ton to see the few wavy lines that gives it away (see valve cover fins).

Naw, it's real!! The wavy lines are simply where Razor welded in the section of cam cover. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I would think it would be easier to make a V16, based off of a V8, than it would be to make a V12.   Basically just two of almost everything.  It seems like it would be difficult to make a good intake manifold for an FE based V12, for instance.    I dunno.

Wow, now there's an idea: imagine how heavy even an aluminum V-12 or V-16 non-SOHC FE intake would be!

Boggles the mind, indeed! Would probably take 1/2 the aluminum reserves in the western world to cast it....LOL!

A V-12 might not sound as cool as one hopes. At this you- tube link is a Falconer V-12 which I believe is based on small block $hevy  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHTTBi4vjwQ

All kidding aside, Razor did the welding to join the two blocks and the four heads necessary to make the V-12 engine that went in the 'GT-90' Ford. One cylinder off each side of the front of one block and the same off the rear of another then weld the two six cylinder blocks together. Same process for the heads. Google 'GT-90' for more information.

I think the Falconer is  based off the BBC, and I almost hate to say it , but a Thunder Mustang sounds amazing in the air.
 It as that "different" tone , like a  boat has when under load.
A 12 cyl Cammer would really make those Mustangs thunder!
