Thanks you guys, I'll be looking forward to seeing you here.  Hopefully as this message board develops we will get enough interesting content to make the visits worthwhile.  I'll be actively publicizing the site in various places as soon as I have my books ready to sell (end of this month?), so there should be a jump in activity then - Jay

And my congrats to you too, Jay. I like the look of the new forum. Hopefully I will be able to contribute to it in the coming future. I have a 482 drag engine about to take shape soon, going in a 64 Fairlane. I'm also piecing together enough parts to build another 482, though this one will be more street orientated and look like a factory R code. I'd like to pick up a 63-64 Galaxie to drop it into one day, though they are a bit thin on the ground down here in Australia.

I look forward to visiting this forum, and also to reading your upcoming book.

Very nice forum Jay, I just have one question: What are you eating and drinking that gives you the energy and drive to do all you do? What ever it is, I need some!

According to my wife, whatever it is that I'm eating and drinking, it's too much  :D  I guess I'm just one of those people who's not happy unless they've got a major project to work on.  I have more fun working on the cars and solving the problems that come along with that than doing just about anything else...

I'm the same way about having to have a project or three going all the time, but I'm just in awe of how much you get done. By the way, we need a "worship" smiley / emoticon  :D

LMAO at your avatar, Erik  :D  I just got the forum started around mid February, and haven't really advertised it yet.  I started off with a forum software called Vanilla software, which kind of sucked, then switched to the Simple Machines software, which is much better.  I expect it to pick up steam after my book is released and I start promoting the site a little bit.  Hopefully it will become a repository for a lot of good technical data.

I am sure the site will kick off nicely once you start to let it be known.
