That is really, really cool.  One of them must be reverse rotation.  Wonder who made the cams?

I saw those two engines for sale in Ron Miller's shop back in the late 90's.  They were on some sort of cradle and I seem to recall a reversing gearbox setup mounted between them, with the driveshaft running out the side of the box forward to a Vee drive.

Running a cammer backwards would be a problem, because the slack-side tensioner wouldn't like all of that additional load!
A careful study of failure will yield the ingredients for success.
