Congratulations to ALL the FE participants at Drag Week...
« on: September 19, 2015, 09:45:59 AM »
Congratulations of course to Jay for winning with an awesome car, but also congratulations to Scott Miller for coming in 2nd with his Big Block NA Cougar running 9.30s! That was NO easy feat, for sure! If Jack hadn't had a fluke problem, who knows where he would have ended up. And congratulations to Kevin for running very respectable times and having the guts to flog on that Shelby. And to Alan Casida for running surprisingly quick in a big heavy Galaxie! Most importantly, you all finished!

You guys all did the FE proud, and in my opinion showed that the FE is far from dead. Way to go guys!

Thank you. And thanks everyone for watching and commenting and for those that stopped by and said hi at the tracks. Also a big thanks for posting the video links, I was way too tired at night to have been searching for those. Also a big thanks from me to Jay for having the hotels booked and the help & advice ahead of time and to Joel & Jeff. Just knowing those guys were on the trek too gave some confidence.

Kevin Rolph somehow I have a feeling your sign-in list of cars is not up to date:

Kevin, I'm just curious if you had even one single problem during the week? You also mentioned something about your car not liking the 3000+ rpm on the highway/freeways. Was it building heat at those rpms?
