Drag Week lite in the upper midwest

I just saw this flyer going around Facebook. Jay?, Hemi Joel?, anyone else thinking of going?

That sounds like fun, but unfortunately I'm tied up that weekend.  I wonder how many other Drag Weekish events are now going on out there?  Did you see the West Coast one sponsored by Hot Rod?  Hot Rod Drag Weekend, October 29-31, Tucson to Phoenix to Fontana...

I'm planning to by at Byron next Saturday for more T/T...I wonder what day the racing will be going on?

Jay will you run the Shelby again locally this year?

Would be great to see more launches to find out if you can further lower your e.t.  ;D

Hope to see you there David. On there website, it shows Sat. will be at Byron, but the track is not rented out for the day, so the Drag Weekend will have to work around normal racing there.

I'll be going to that one, but as a spectator. If I had known about it earlier, I might have been able to jam something together, but again I lack resources in the way of associates that know how to turn a wrench.
