old cylinder head boxes always work well. unfortunately i sold a set of heads and used my last boxes. lucky my machine shop guy had a couple laying around i could have. i lined the boxes with pieces of foam insulation board that i picked up off a job sites scrap pile.

heads all packaged and wrapped and ready to be shipped off. i do have to say it was a very tough decision on to whom i would be sending them. We all know that there's only a fist full of guys that really know there way around these heads and for a smaller bore (4.140) all race motor the list gets a bit smaller still.  After some time and a lot of thought i narrowed the list down to 4. Blair Patrick, Berry at survival, Jim Kuntz, and Keith craft. I had good conversation with 3 of these guys, 1 i never did get to talk to even after several phone calls and e mail, im sure he is very busy or maybe just not interested in working a race head with a small bore. two of these guys i talked to a couple times in depth and it came down to a very hard decision between them. Im confident that any one of these guys would do an awesome job for me but with the decision i made i know ill be extremely happy..
