Restored, dash, gauges, interior. Found NOS material for seat. Goal was to make it stock appearing or if Ford had built a "R" code 66 F100 way back when.

Nice and keep those pics coming!

But, I would have been scared to not paint the hood at the same time....to ensure an exact color match, even in white.

i would like to know who fabricated your oil pan , as i have 66 f250-2 wd -i can't go deep sump and the t-style's hit the cross member on the pass. side--I currently have a sideoiler being buit over at survival motorsports and would like to get pan sent to him in the next month or so. also what motor mounts (or mod's) did you use,as last time i had to drill the stock fe's as i recall? any info would really help me out ,thanks -gene     p.s. i thought mine was "clean" until i saw your's on the "h.a.m.b post" and here !!!

I hate to bother you , but did you have to trim the passenger side of the pan  or did it clear as is ? before I pulled the motor ,I measured off of the stock pan and it looked like no way a t-stle pan would clear.  again , thank's for the info !

My mistake, thought you saw it on the hamb that the pan is unmodified but had to notch the frame to get it to clear. Same with clearance for oil filter.

yea, i couldn't see the notch's in the photo's, but i kind of figured there was not enough clearance. i guess i'll just have to get a custom pan built! nuthin's easy lol. anyway, thank's for the help!

After reading through this thread, I went to the window, looked out at my '63 F-100 for a few minutes, and then went over in the corner and had a brief cry. SOME DAY!!!

I had big plans to work on this project but ended up starting on another. A for sure off topic non-FE

Another 66 F100 but this time for a daily driver and tow rig.

Powered by the new TwinTurbo EcoBoost 3.5L

Hoping to get back on the 427 Project soon.

Looks awesome.  Where did you find the seat material and who did the upholstery?

I was able to get some NOS upholstery from SMS Fabrics. A place in Spokane did the stitching from original pattern. Pretty much exact to the original.

Mad a bit of progress on the 427 Project box but adding the eco-boost project to the mix and also trying to get my garage set up it feels like I am making little to no progress on any of the projects.

EcoBoost truck chassis is now complete. Next up is finishing the channel of cab and box over the new 2012 Chassis.
In process of installing a new bed floor in the '66 Box for the 427 project along with trying to add on to the shop so I have some elbow room to actually get something done . . .

Best part of the box floor removal. For the fun of it decided to count the number of spot welds removed. Counted and counted again. Each time I ended up with 427 spot welds! A number I will soon not forget! lol
