2015 FE Race & Reunion

Ok folks, the holidays are basically behind us so it's time to start thinking about the 2015 FE Race & Reunion!! Hard to believe this will be our third time doing this and it gets better every year. This will be without a doubt the largest gathering of FE/FT powered vehicles ever. If you have been there in the past you know how special of an event it is. If you haven't been there yet, you need to start planning for April 24 & 25, 2015!! We have already confirmed that Dick Brannan and Hubert Platt will be back this year. There is also a rumor that another former Ford Racing "super hero" may be attending. More on that later if it happens!! This year will be a full FE only two day event including a huge cookout on Friday evening. I want be able to attend but would like to buy one of the t-shirts.  I contacted the drag strip after the last event because I heard they had left over t-shirts but never got a return phone call.

Is there anyway to order a t-shirt for the next event?

Don't know about being able to order, but when you get there they'll have plenty of shirts plus lots of other goodies readily available just inside the gate.  You can be appropriately outfitted in mere minutes.  They might bring the leftovers from last year as well, don't know why not.

I think he's not able to attend, Len, and that's why he's asking about ordering a shirt.  I doubt I'd be able to attend either, but I'd be interested in one of those shirts too...

The shirts are handled by Beaver Bob and the track.  They have sold out every year before the end of the day on Saturday.  The shirt order was doubled for last year and they also sold out.  The best way to get a shirt is attend and get in line for one as soon as you can.  Sorry

I've been told the 2015 shirt will be the best yet too...

I  went to the concession stand late sat and found that they had sold out. The girl took my name and phone # and I got a phone call from Beaver Bobs wife a few days latter. She ordered a bunch more for people that missed getting one and a few weeks latter I had two shipped to me along with a couple of FE attendance stickers and a race schedule. Mrs Bob was very nice and I told her I would be back this coming yr. I will get my shirts early this time!

is that track still uphill? I used to race there in the 70's & it was a bitch to stay staged in the left lane without  rolling back & red lighting.

yes its uphill aprox 13 feet , a line lock will cure creep
