I gave up on the snow blower

And built me a little plow. WOOHOO!!!

It needs a couple of things, brakes and exhaust and the operator is a bit of a nut job, but it
will plow the snow.

It always comes down to math, doesn't it?  I believe there's a formula to determine the amount of snowfall one can anticipate and that amount is always directly related to the amount of $$$ spent in preparation for it.  Nice lookin' truck though , looks like it'll get the job done if you do ever get any snow up there......

Its like this year.Fore one times sake i have all the stuff inside in good time
before we can expect the snow around haloween.
We got the first 3 inches snow yesterday
A normal year we have about 40 inches by cristmas
I gave up on my  tractor last year and hired a neighbour
with his Volvo L90.He do my one hour work in 3 minutes
for less than my Diesel bill
Hes bucket is as wide as my tractor is long

At least we didn`t get the BIG ONE like buffalo did. right Lenz! Besides I left for Dallas just as that
storm hit. Here in western NY,  we were just on the edge of that one. Mark Artis couldn`t belive I got there to see him.

Yes Doug, I believe that is the correct expression of the formula, it applies beyond snow removal too.  I've been running 4x2 pickups with cement blocks in the bed and one leggers out back for 20 years, just bought a 4x4.  S'posed to be 60 here in the snow belt on Christmas eve, guess I'll need to go muddin' to see how well the 4x4 works  .

Hey Gary, you're right about the Buffalo big one, no one was going anywhere in that.  I wondered if that storm leaned up against your place or not, it sat square over the lake about 2 miles north of land here.

We have not had a snow event yet this winter, BUT there is some ice starting to set on my tiny little beach.
That means a big pile of the white stuff is coming.
The old 28" blower is great in the city on a paved driveway, but I live in the sticks and
the pavement is a long ways out.

What, no FE powered snow blower to clear the drive??     

The plow would have been my first choice due to the heater in the truck!!

The snow covered drive is picture perfect and looks like a nice place to visit. Don't think I could ever get used to that much snow. I'll stick with the humid Houston summers and the three weeks of winter that we get.  Currently cloudy and 59.
