Very cool!! What a great thing it would be to see Danny regain the record for his father. Too bad they're not going to use the 427 engines though. Thanks for the link, Bob.

I've seen a couple articles on the revival in Hot Rod; great to see it on 4 wheels again!  From what I read the project is a little financially challenged.  Apparently Danny has sold some personal assets to get the project this far.  Hope he can raise enough funds to do it right, and re-capture the piston-driven record.  Agree, wish it could be with 427s!
