I went with my brother to pick up a flat bed for our 46 Ford dump truck and the farmer had some other Ford stuff he tried to get me to take home with me. He had a couple truck engines laying around but no value to me, but when I turned the corner to the back side of the barn HMMM my wallet hand started to quiver. It is a 1964 Ford F600 with a 391, all original and stored inside. The interior is perfect down to the original silver vinyl  seat upholstery and Ford rubber floor mat. Runs drives, needs front brakes and a paint Job, clean body and frame. I immediately thought ramp style car body for the back. He is asking 1000 bucks (scrap price). BTW it has a two speed rear and a dump stake bed included. Best of all it is an FE!!!!

That truck you described is an "N" series. They are great trucks but getting rare, still a nice find and a very fair price. I have its big brother. N 750 with the 391, 5spd, 2spd rear and air brakes. They came with diesels as well as gas and tandem drives also.

I love the bull dog front it reminds me of an old Mack my dad had. I would love to have one a 1940s aero stream with the big oval grill but they are very collectable and rare.
