valve covers for T&D race rockers?

Just wondering what you guys are using to clear the T&D race rockers? I tried the Powered By Ford and Holley old school tall covers I have laying around and they are uncomfortably close. Anybody have the Pentroof covers from Barry? They look like they would clear.

I have used the Blue Thunder competition style covers and they clear easy.  They've been out of stock forever, but a batch are coming in soon.  I have also used a variety of aluminum covers including stock CJ and they clear with very minor tweaks - not a real big problem.  Now - try to get covers to clear the Dove/Comp deal with those big end stands - that's a whole 'nuther deal there...

i have the blue thunder valve covers and they are a nice piece.  my problem is they are heavy,  for me who wants light as possible for a tube chassis car.  i would go with factory pent roofs,  takes very little to get fit but they are way lighter if thats something you worry about

Yes weight is also a concern, I actually tonight have been doing some head scratching on that. I would like to shave some weight on my truck. Moroso has a fabricated set but yikes! the price. Maybe a spacer set is in order.

i do see plenty of pentroof power by ford and or mercury thunderbolt valve covers on ebay.  i scored a set for 150 bucks they are the mercury thunderbolts and i took a blue thunder one off my falcon to compare side by side and wow are they heavy.  the aluminum cobra jet avalve covers are lighter than blue thunder also, but good luck finding them when you do they are by far cheap.  good luck with your project.

I think Barry has pent roofs, I have a set of powered by ford Scot Drakes but the have little room to spare. Hamburgers' oil pans makes a set but info is scarce on those.
